We have to play inside a little more in Colorado this time of year.

But it isn't any less beautiful outside!

Just a couple of average days for Josie

Helping to empty the dryer

Feeding myself yogurt and bananas

Helping to empty the kitchen drawer

Running away with Mommy's lunchbox

Eating dirt with Lilly

Splashing in the rain barrel

Waving at Mama

Getting my hand stuck in the cup of snacks!

Taking myself out for a walk to visit the neighbors.

Stringers with Steps

Josie knows just what to do with all those steps!

This was about 5pm on Sunday afternoon, Betty was taking a break from the work to show us the steps themselves.

Don't hold me, I have places to go and things to do!

Enjoying some Fall Colors

And some rocks, of course!

Haha, no, I will not give you back the rocks in my mouth!

We went just as far as our little one likes to ride in the car on Sunday morning and caught some of the fall colors here in Colorado! It was a beautiful morning! Josie was less interested in being carried and more interested in getting down and walking--very slowly, while testing out many different rocks.

Alright, we staged the framing square with Josie pics--but she happily obliged!

When Lilly saw this sweater, she said, clear as a bell, "Cupcake!"

Josie is very interested in all of the tools that have plugs and make noises! We have to run pretty fast sometimes to keep up with her inquiries!

The Deck Continues . . .

That is, if you look in the back of these photos, you can see that Betty has completed the stairs to the upper deck and is now working on the railings for those stairs (this was about two weeks ago) Josie, for her part, checks out a truck with her foot while working at her new water table (repurposing of the ends of the treated boards that became all those stair stringers)

Eh? What!

I love these buckles on my overalls!

And I love finding trucks in my water table.
