Work on the Deck

Digging out a flat spot for the flagstones
Tamping down some "red breeze" for the flagstones to rest on

    what I learned:

    -flagstone is heavy
    -rocks are not level, even if they are flat
    -shoveling does get old
    -measure 8 times
    -when it doenst fit, break it

    Looking good! Every home needs a deck and patio as outside rooms for good-weather living. Matt built a deck on my house and then I did the brick patio - just looking at the pictures makes my back hurt in sympathy! But so worth it.
