Josie is beginning to play with toys as she increases her awareness of her hands! When we go out, we take this apple toy and she often finds it in her hands. Her play is also a little more focused in the baby trap because the only parts of her body that she can move are her forearms and hands.
She is now intentionally reaching out for the supports of the activity gym and scratching at them.
We took a nice walk on Tuesday to a park that we had visited a few months ago and paused at the same bench to take a nursing break where last time it was a break for me as I was out of breath! Josie was sort of happy--we have discovered that she really only likes to be awake for about an hour at a time before she gets pretty cranky and we were pushing it.
