Auntie April

April obviously has lots of Auntie practice, she and Mark (a.k.a tanker engine) made fast friends. I think Lilly suggested that Josie get on the dolly bed and in fact, she did like it very much.
It gave her a new perspective on her toys (and Lilly's toys, here with one of the necklaces)

Grandpa's girls!

Josie and Grandpa took a walk to check out the property (or to look for the property as Mark told me later--he wasn't sure if it was found or not).
Josie and Grandpa watching Wendy at work.
Lilly needed Grandpa to spend some one-on-one time with her next!

Helping out Grandma

While the main helping I did was taking pictures, Mark, Betty and Amy helped Grandma plant all her tomatoes.
Mark can now put his bare feet in dirt, so visiting Kettle Falls is a lot more fun than it was when he was one.

Our Playhouse in Kettle Falls

I can vaguely remember Dad building this playhouse for us when we were very small. A swingset and sandbox used to sit next to it as well, but Bob and Wendy are happy with the playhouse!

Here's Wendy hard at work, more pictures to come!

Happy, happy grandkids

All three kids are really doing their own perfect thing in this picture, I just love it! Mark is fully engaged in a book and a snuggle with Grandma, Lilly decorating herself with beautiful jewels, and Josie reaching out for her favorite thing to touch (Lilly). Grandma had everything ready for her grandkids to come visit and have a great time!

Just Cute as can be!

Just can't stop taking pictures of how Cute Josie is. She gets more and more interactive every single day.
Here she and Mommy are investigating the webbing straps on the sleeping bag on which she is playing.
Hmmm, Mama won't let me eat grass, what else can I find!?
Its just hard work to be so cute!

Josie self-propels!

Josie tossed this toy out of her reach and...
...tried reaching for it...
...popped up on her hands and knees and...
..reacquired her toy!

The Gold Line

We all LOVED our new form of travel from the airport in Spokane to Kettle Falls--especially the babies who didn't have to ride in a five point harness and instead happily slept from North Spokane to Chewelah (Mark), Colville (Lilly) and Kettle (Josie).
