Busy busy with the cousins

This was just yesterday, now we are really caught up on the pictures! Here is Mark "smiling" and sidling into the picture of Josie standing with pretty much nothing.

Back to drumming! Josie really enjoys the drum but really only uses one arm to drum, so she has to be aligned on the correct side for it work really well.

More Helping with the Deck

Josie can now crawl out the back door, off the patio (with a little help) and pretty much go anywhere she wants!

Betty is measuring the last set of stringers for the stairs from the upper to lower deck. Soon they will be attached!

I found it!

The other night, we thought Josie was ready for bed and while she was making a first attempt to sleep, we cleaned up her livingroom play area. She was super excited to play there instead of going to sleep, when she saw her toys arranged for her.

Also note, the brick fireplace hearth has been entirely wrapped in 2 inch thick foam that is further encased in a calming night scene with mountains. This seems to be a great addition to our livingroom as Josie can now just reach to top with her, so far toothless, mouth.

What? I'm not a toddler?

Josie is still using a little bit of support to get up and down, you can see her flat hand on the book still on the shelf and her other hand resting on the printer.

Last week, when stairs were a challenge...
